Meritocracy is a basic American value. When employers reward hard work, aptitude and talent in hiring and retaining employees, they are rewarded with superior performance and strong morale.
Fairness is good for business.
Although some forms of employment discrimination are prohibited under federal law, no such prohibition exists for discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity
