About Us
Equality South Dakota is a statewide advocacy organization developed by men and women across South Dakota who are dedicated to achieving equality for all people with respect to their sexual orientation and gender identity. Our membership includes thousands of supporters from not only this state but across the nation.
The members and supporters of Equality South Dakota come from all walks of life. They are gay and straight, single and married, your father, mother, sister or brother and members of all faiths. They are your friends and neighbors, your co-workers and community volunteers.
Mission Statement
The mission of Equality South Dakota (EqSD) is to secure, protect, and support the rights and the well being of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) South Dakotans and their families.
